NSFW/SVILOVA is proud to present "DATURA SWING" with artist Eva Mozard.

Vernissage: August 13, 13-17 hrs

In her artistic practice, Eva Mozard embroiders symbols, texts, and signs onto black fabric. Her images can be seen as pure manifestations with a message that freely sways over spiritual, political, and mythical landscapes. Everything moves forward and backward, in a circle: LIFE-DEATH.

The title "DATURA SWING" comes from the umbrella term for nine species of vespertine-flowering plants. All species of Datura are poisonous and potentially psychoactive and can cause a number of afflictions, and even death if taken internally. Due to their effects, they have occasionally also been used as hallucinogens by various groups throughout history.

The exhibition text is written by artist Martin Ålund and will be available online and in print at our gallery space.

  • Opening: Wed – Fri 12-17 hrs | Saturday 12–15 hrs and by appointment.
